And where is a good place to look?

I have a Yamato...bout it though.

Hmm, if by "katana-looking weapon", you mean weapons like the Yamato, there are only 3 or 4. They are, in order of power, Musashi, Yamato, and Asuka. Then there's Sange & Yasha, but it's a lot harder to find. Or, it was, until they got duped. Since you're a Purplenum, you can't find Asuka. You can find Musashi from the Hard mode Dragon, but don't bother, Yamato is better.

or maybe he means agito or oratiagito

I think he means the Kamui, Sange, Yasha, and Agito. Those are the only katana weapons I can think of. They are really class specific I think.

There's also the Grass Assassin and Sinow B's Arms, which become powerful weapons.

Don't get your hopes up bout the Oratiagito though, very hard to find. Is G-Assassain Saber stronger or weaker than Yomato???

Yamatos are much stronger than G-Assassin's Sabers because they can be grinded up to +60.

Yes, but it took Raist 27 pal rappies to get it, he's pinkal, the drop rate on it is horrible. So if you wanna go for it, it'll take you a while.

Oh yeah? I have a Pinkal character....is it from a Pal Rappy in hard or Very Hard?

Pinkal finds the AUW 1975 Agito in the Ultimate Forest from Pal Rappy. Word is that a Whitill can also find the AUW 1975 Agito in the Ultimate Cave from Mil Lily.

If you manage to find the AUW 1975 Agito just take it into the quest Seek My Master and talk to the guy standing off to the left of the bank. He'll change it into an Orochiagito.
