seems like that.
every day i hear more and more r getting 065, but only a very few ppl do get their acc fixed per day.
for me its day 12 of the pending cansel aka 065.

Sebastian is rather reliable, I had this same error a long time ago and he fixed it for me in no time, eh, go EU support?

It seems like those of us who tried to cancel and are in 'pending cancel' status are really getting screwed. A lot of people are able to get back online but they just had their billing date fixed.

He fixed my account over the phone literally he was talking me through it. It has to be faster than sending an email to Europe or whatever. I may have gotten lucky or special treatment but if you do call, you are garenteed a spot in line for your account to be fixed.


Also- DO NOT TRY AND CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT UNLESS THEY TELL YOU TO TRY IT. (it has been proven to be easier to fix those who are active but still can't log on)

I just spoke with SEGA Customer Service again; it sounds as if they outsourced the billing.

The representative told me the company sent out a list of user names and that the accounts should've been re-activated by date (i.e. if you were 065'd in April, you should be fixed first and so on). However, the people handling this situation aren't doing it that way. It seems they're erratically re-activating accounts.

In the end, all we can do is wait...It seems to be out of our and SEGA Customer Support's hands.

I'm so happy! After weeks my account was finally reactivated!

It seems being rather agressive in your emails also seems to work. [I even sent an abuse form claiming SEGA as the abusive player - really does seem every little bit helps I guess, sorta.] ;] Must remember to thank Edward.

It may be sporradic which is fixed, but atleast there seems to be a new one fixed every minute. Hold in mind, there are probably a heck of a lot of accounts to get through. And I guess they must be loosely sticking to the mysterious list at least, I mean I think I was one of the first people at the start of MAG to be error65'd.

Still, I wish SEGA would get there act properly together sometimes.

so I'm a little confused as to the process of reactivation. I got my response from Edward. Now what happens? He said to wait for a notification that my account had been reactivated. Was that sent in the "notifications" section of your playsega account, or email? Also, do I need to respond to Edward's reply in order for them to keep working on it? Just a little confused....

I'm seriously hoping someone got fired for this! My account died 5 days ago and they haven't reactivated....

I mean goddam I want to give them money and they don't fucking want it, WTF?!

I've been swallowing a lot of bullshit from this company for years now but they just keep fucking up over and over. Who the fuck is running this place?

Putting aside all the complaints, a good business would avoid all this errors. Heads would roll and new-smarter people would replace them if some mediocre CEO was in charge. I believe they have some imbecile relative running things and they are just screwing things up. But you know what, if any mediocre person with an MBA got hired by SEGA they could do a lot more good than they idiot running things now. I'm going to submit my last complaint that if my account isn't activated by Monday morning to not even bother activating it at all. I'm done period.

As someone who works in an IT department....an issue like this can be very tricky to fix, there are alot of variables in the equation. They'll get it fixed when they get it fixed.

With this situation; repeated, formal, rational complaint and reporting to Sega by any means possible is fully warranted in-my-view.

I have been continually optimimistic, immensely patient, and immensely tolerant to Zen-like levels with Sega's managment of PSU and it's online systems, that is beginning to fade now. This situation is very very disappointing and upsetting. Certain persons *will* recieve Karmic backlash sooner than later. >:-

well now that i`m part of the 065 error i did find a number for sega america if anyone wants it this is it (415)701-6000 when i called the message said that they are open m-f 8:30 am to 5:oopm so i left a message and i will call 2-3times a day until i get my account back. hope this helps people out there.

Ok, now I am really, really pissed off.

Both my and my husband's accounts are 065'ed. And I checked our credit card bills, we've both been charged to play for this month.

I'm really pissed off about this...I'm being charged money for an account that is supposedly "expired" when I try to log on!

You can bet I'm going to be calling Sega on Monday and bitching. And if it doesn't get fixed very soon, I'll be calling my credit card company second to report Sega for fraud (i.e. "payment for services not rendered").

They have fixed accounts, I've been able to play on mine again at least. One of the GMs said that they have to send the Sega EU a seperate messsage for each account and fix each one manually, which is why it's taking so long. Of course, if people are still getting fresh errors, it means they haven't gotten around to the underlying problem.

If this was 8 years ago at least they could scapegoat y2k

The JP problems are fixed fairly quickly, I believe. They're close to the power, and a greater fan-base, so big problem are probably fixed quickly, but I'm unsure, I'm speaking out of my ass.

Also, our "GM team" has very little power, as far as I know.

I'm finally back on after like 5 days of being 065'ed. It took me two support ticket sendings to get it done.

First ticket I explained I was having the 065 problem. No email back from Sega.

Second ticket (which I sent yesterday morning) I filed it under the "report abuse" tab. I didn't make the second message rude, but I did imply in it that Sega was committing credit card fraud by charging my account this month for my Guardian license, and then not rendering any service. Lo and behold, this morning my account has been fixed and I can log on again.

I sent a similar ticket with a duplicate message for my husband's account. I'll have him log in later to see if it worked for him too.

I suppose you could try calling the Sega support number and mentioning the same thing if your credit card has been billed for this month's Guardian's license. Good luck to you on that one--when I tried calling yesterday all their operators were busy and only taking messages (and this was during their weekly business hours! Maybe alot of people complaining via phone about this? Hmmm).

A good number of people were lit up again on my cards last night, so it seems a good amount are getting fixed. I also should have been 65'd by now, but still not. I'm wondering if they fixed it from allowing anymore to fall victim.



I really hope this is true. I'm due to be 065'd tomorrow. D:

Probably. >_> But I'm not going to cancel my subscription since that seems to be the kiss of death for those still in 065 limbo. I really hope ST extends MAG because of this. The players just coming back need some sort of in-game compensation badly.

For people who didn't get it fixed yet- make sure you're checking by actually trying to log in the game, not just looking at the billing site. I got my 65 fixed a while ago, but site still looks borked to me, I wouldn't have thought to check if the support guy didn't tell me.

PSU is starting to become old for me.
Im missing MAG which is suppose to be a big event, even though i personally think its just meh, and im not feeling very motivated to play, mostly because of GTA4, not like id be able to get on anyway.
Im sick of Sega and all of their mistakes as well.
Dunno if imma quit or not, i may just go back to PSO since i have been switching between the two and i seem to enjoy that a bit more, but knowing me ill probably be back on in about a week or whenever i can possibly get on.

This is ******* nuts. MAG is almost over and the 65 still has a grip on people? I figured that everyone was back on by the end of the weekend (I got back at least.) Geez! I mean, how could they not give us another week to make up for that?

Even with the "free" month's play, what kind of in-game compensation can they give that will be enough?

Hi, everybody! Meet the newest member of the 065 Club! (it's me!)

I have a huge final tomorrow morning, and got sick of studying for it. I thought I'd log in and kill stuff to rid myself of some stress. But, no, SEGA had other ideas for me. 065, why did you come out to torment me now? I just wanted to have some fun... but now after sending a few polite support emails, I am more stressed out than I was before I took my study break. At least my wife is happy; less time with PSU means more time with the family. (though, between you and me, I'd take the PSU...)

Ok, just checked my husband's PSU account as well as mine. Both have been reactivated.

I did send an email ticket to Sega yesterday under the "report abuse" category, and basically told them in my message that my credit card had been charged for this month but I wasn't able to access my account since the billing date. This morning I got an email from a Sega representative saying my credit card had not been charged for this month's Guardians license, that the billing error was preventing me from logging on, and that they would manually reactivate my accounts as soon as possible. And yes, I did check my credit card statements last week, I WAS billed for service the same day I was 065'ed, no matter what the Sega rep said. I thought about sending a nasty email back pointing that out yet again, but f**kit. They reactivated our accounts today and I'm just going to leave it at that.

So yeah, those of you who are error 065'd, make sure you check your credit card statements...like me, you might have been billed this month for service your not getting! (Which, according to my credit card company, constitutes credit card FRAUD. If thats the case, contact Sega and point it out to them).

Crudcakes. I skipped playing on the night of the 12th, and attempted to logon the night of the 13th.

Bam - 065! Oddly, my PlaySEGA account says I'm active, and that my bill date is the 9th. According to PlaySEGA, they've not billed me yet, but I'll check with my bank during the day, to see if that's the case.

I submitted a 'question' through the Knowledge Base link posted earlier... is that the best way to go about this?

What BS. My subscription actually ran out last month, but hey I wanted to login and check out the MAG event before it's over. I go to playsega and it says I'm active...ok. I cancel that subscription in an attempt to renew, now I have no option to renew... sent in a ticket. I'm guessing there are no phone #'s we can call?

Hey, how did you manage to get a person that COULD actually fix this? I called just now, and I got someone taking my info, confirming they'd pass it on to the agents who're working on it... although, I asked for a Billing Issues dept. when I spoke to the Operator. Did you ask for Online Support or something?

I just called and they say they will activate the account manually, which he said was about a 24hr turn around. He said there is a 'larger' issue with the billing...

edit: I just asked for billing and got someone right away, they took my name and added it to the list.

Well, mine still isn't fixed either, but that was to be expected. I still didn't send anything.
If my account get fixed before the ones of those who sent tickets and updated them on regular basis, i think i might send them an abusive behaviour ticket to explain them that i'm the only one to get the right of using a rolldice when it comes to solving critical situations.
