I'm thinking about gettingone, but I need some questions answered first...Answer as many as you can.

1.How is the battery life?
2.Should I get the normal or slim-line one.
3.Can I surf the net with it?
4.If I imported a game from Japan, would it work on it?
5.How good is the UMD quality for movies? (Not what I want one for, but still.)
6.What are some good games for it? I'm looking at Disgaea and FFVIICC the most.
7. What memory card should I get for it?

Thanks.

it's not good, but it's acceptable

slim, it's much better in every way

3.Can I surf the net with it?
yep

4.If I imported a game from Japan, would it work on
it?
yes

5.How good is the UMD quality for movies? (Not what I want one for, but still.)
the picture quality is great

FFT, Castlevania

7. What memory card should I get for it?
if you just want saved games, 32MB. ifyou want music, try to get a big stick. newegg.com has good prices on 4GB sticks. and get sandisk.

Good games for PSP:

Monster Hunter 2
Disgaea
Castlevania
Jeanne D'Arc
Tale of the World: Radiant Mythology
Wipeout Pulse
Grand Theft Auto
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
Wild Arms: XF
Patapon
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Valhalla Knights
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Kingdom of Paradise
Puzzle Quest
Lumines 1 and 2
Tekken Dark Ressurection
Brave Story
Every Extend Extra
Tales of Eternia

AND MANY MANY MORE!

Oh yeah, and get the normal (aka Phat) version. The slim has some improvements but the normal one is easier to hack, thus you can pimp out your psp with all sorts of cool shit.

BTW Crisis Core is worth purchasing the system for, IMO (as no one mentioned it yet)

I also like Wipeout Pure (and it's cheap too)

and Outrun 2006 (also cheap)

Maverick Hunter X

The battery life is comparable to a cellphone..

as previously posted, picture quality is EXCELLENT for UMD's and in-game CG cinemas

my favourite PSP games are Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, and Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles.
