The reason I asked was because I wasn't sure. I unpacked Most of the bmls in the folders(still haven't found any gsl umpackers).
The model animation is eat_bm5_s_kem_body.njm
Found other interesting ones as well.

Ok, so I was wrong about bm_boss1_dragon_b.bml(N-VH Dragon extended). All the animations are there. Missing damaged wing textures and has bump maps.

Edit: I belive it is another Gamejam leftover.

Oh yeah, there are three sets of Rico textures/models.
1. plKtex.afs
2. darkfalz_dat.bml
3. gsl_forest02.gsl/rico_body.bml

1&2 use the same textures(the set in darkfalz_dat.bml are named, instead of identified by a global index nunber which all playable character pvrs in gsls use)
The third one uses only two textures, Id secion tex, and combined character tex.

Thankfuly the Pso pc sfx are wav, instead of in mlt banks, which there is no unpacker/converter for. If that one tool is correct, mlts contain mpg layer 1 based sound files.

I did unpack the pac files using something was made for SH. Dosn't work well with SH, but works perfectly for BB

Theres not only the Baranz Launcher, but theres also a Garanz launcher model/texture. There's even a Garanz laucher tekk images, as well as Red ring and other guards.

thanks to ihterra from ******* forum, i didn't know where or how to extract these.
after i founded the right file, even with conversion i was getting .bin files, then the easiest thing was to manually change the format to .xvm and open with a tool, most files could not be open, but the one with the screens at the boss did open and i extracted them instantly.

how to do it
use bml extractor on a bml file at your choice
you will get several files, they will be .bin type, no matter what's the name of the file, it's always a bin file
enable extension at folder properties in your computer and rename the file to .pvm if ver.2 or .xvm if pso bb
use ******* vmt tool and you will be able to open some of the files.

Not sure why theres 20000000 spaces there. Other games don't do it.

One is Flowens only body, the other is only head and effects. He has a few complete sets. One regular, and one "dark".

Textures are easy to extract with the right tools.

There are two blood sets.
bm_ene_common_all.bml: Only contains ene_common_all.nj, the textures are in root. The file is ene_common_all.pvm.

bm_ene_common_all_k bml: Contains ene_common_all.nj and ene_common_all.nj.pvm. The Altered Beast and Dark blood is the same, but the Native blood is blue.

I edited the root so the Native blood was blue. Didn't work though. Most files are loaded from gsls. There's no gsl repacker. It would work then.

I can edit the textures just fine, but there is no bml repacker for Pso Pc yet.

There is a bml repacker, but it's only for BB. There is a tool set which will have it, just don't know when the tool will be updated. I can change characters, weapon/item textures, root pvms, level textures, and sound effects too, I belive. Not sure if the sfx has to be the same legnth.

Interestingly, there are references to the mlt banks in the pso.exe.

You can change the music if you have a program which creates .sgt files.

Yup. Another interesting find in pso.exe, the Grass Assassin bml is listed with the rest of the forest enmies. They were in the beta forest 1.

Copied a bunch of files into my Pso Gaejam folder. Stuff I belive is un the Gamejam version. Not sure if the two mlt files I found are from Ver1 or 2. Anyway, they would be the same.

as you can see the 1st version of pso you couldn't run at all, in that movie you can

then they improved the combos, then they improved the zones, the chat,......., then they launched pso ver.1

considering there are many beta game disks of pso ver.2, each one designed to test something, then they probably also used many beta disks before the pso ver.1 lauch, in the movie it's probably one of them being tested

i beleive they are not damaged, it's the alpha layer, the transparent color.......it happens on some textures, the delsaber, the rappies textures i posted.....

bm_boss1_dragon_b.bml is the only Dc file I found which uses bumpmaps. None in the rest of Pso, Sa2 Trial, Sa2 Preview, and Sa2 final have any.

on pso private server forum they are switiching bmls with other bml files, you know to finght ep4 enemys in forest and stuff like that.
altought the attacks don't change, switching enemys can only be done if they are the same, because that might crash the game or as someone said

But when I tried to replace a Hildbear will the Boss Dragon, the monster dig a hole in the floor and disappeared
i mean it's something that can be done in pso ver.1 or pso ver.2 i beleive and would show some bizarre results.

cpt........i mean i can open the model files in the game (char models for example) but opening a cpt file.......don't know, you can google for one, usually programs that extract stuff from files are easy to find.

Searching froogle isn't that simple for most game formats..

Edit: What I realy want are the Fur Fighters Dc demo files from Generator 2 disk. I don't use any torents. With all of the differences, it's more of a beta...

i treid to take the ver.2 ones from the game disk, by using one way my program does not recognize the pvr file, tried the pso bb way (programs that are used on pso bb), i can view the pics, but they come scranbled and weird as hell.

also, map viewer (program to view maps in pso bb)

Hmm, DC_Player, those rips are from Blueburst right? One of those icons looks like the old 'game invite' icon from PSOX. Same with that B button lol.

That overhead screenshot is from Episode 2's Central Control Area. That whole area is really nice looking even though you don't get to check those areas unless you use hacks to walk around or do certain quests. Really cool stuff there.

Afs: Container for varaity of formats
Gsl: Contains bins, bml, nj, prs, pvm, rel, others
mlt: Dreamcast sound banks(used in Sa2 Battle as well, maybe Sa Dx)

Great work guys! I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I'll do it anyway:
Does anybody have a correct dropchart for Ver.2? I mean, all the drops from enemies as well as the itemboxes including the droprate? Also, are there differences between offline and online droprates?

pso world drop rates are quite acurate, use them as an average number since drop rates change constatntly.

ther's a difference beetween 1/900 and 1/910 but that doesn't mean the item is instattly easier to find with the lower drop rate.
use the ones from this site, they have helped me alot and i don't see major flaws
online and offline are the same, drop rates won't change.

btw red ring doesn't drop, the drop rate exists but the boss won't drop it since the drop rate is disabled.

well, Lee from the private server has pulled the droprates from the items and pso-world ones are not far from the ones in the disk.
like i said, it's an average they are not fixed numbers but they are around a certain one, just don't expect a 1/100.000 to become 1/10 at some point in the game, maybe 1/99.000 or so.

i trust the faqs here, they suport my findings in the game :P
i can ask lee to make a box drop chart, he may get that info.

Yeah, it would be great to have another source for the rates (including the rates for the itemboxes ;)), because I don't like to only have 1 source for something ^~^.

ppl used those for some weapons on pc called matrix weapons, they replaced the weapon texture by the one of the "no data"
sonic team named that texture "no dana" lol
knuckle weapon is a quest prize weapon of some sort i think. don't know why they used it on that.
