WTF...unanounced maintenance

I was about 4 seconds close to loseing a rappy wing that I had sitting by the bank while i sold all of the junk that I had. I dropped it off to make sure that I didn't sell by accident. I got done in the store and ran over and picked it up. I was just about to drop it off in the bank when....BLAM..!!! Disconnected.?? I was like WTF.. I checked my network settings and everything was okay so I then try to got back online to see what's up.

Thank god the only thing I lost were a few monogrinders, and some junk items. I've been working like a bi*ch to remake my rare collection after my memory card got corrupted due to a power flash.

I could swear that they had a message that came up like once every 5 minutes or so that said that they were going to be doing maintenance.

something like we will be dong maintenance in 15 minutes please disconnect. then there was one for 10 minutes and 5 minutes. I've seen this message before but I didn't get anything like that this time.

Did anyone else get this or is it just me.

Well. I own a web operation...

And sadly it could just be an outage that they have no control over.

The state of the industry isnt good now. Many of the host sites are goin under, and experiencing severe operational problems due to $$ issues, and the fact that most have had to reduce their staff by 80% or so....

I would imagine that the US PSO servers are running in such a host center. If SC has them hosted in Exodus....expect more problems like this ahead....

Maybe a week or so ago I got booted right off when they felt like doing maintainance on Antares at 11:30 PM EST in the middle of pwning Falz in vhard. I was really upset because I was with two really excellent forces, and we were totally kicking Falz' ass in the third form when it happened. >_<

I recall getting warnings about maintainance back on DC, I think. I thought they'd keep that up for GC, but I've already been booted with no warning, so I guess not. >_<

Yes I could have put it into the bank but I didn't want to go to the bank twice.. drop of the rappy wing, then drop of the extra cash.. I just wanted to get back to LVing UP as fast as possible, u know, not wanting to wait for it to save after the bank and store then bank again. But in sight of this I think I will make it a compulsive disorder to keep every thing in the bank.. BRB .. Like someone said previously, it could be an outage or any number of things out of their hands.

They still do give warnings before they do maintenance. I never got the opportunity to see it on the DC PSO v1, but I did however the other week have to see it on GC version. It starts with a 10 minute warning, then counteded down the minutes. It went from 10 to 9, so I assume it goes down minute by minute (I got off a little bit after 9 minute warning).

I got the same 101 error tried to reconnect a few times but it persisted so i got bored and watched T.V. instead.

I already dropped tons of laxative mixture into ST's sake. The effects are devastating.

BTW, it would be nice to know if all the servers went down, or it was just one of them. If one of them, it would be probably a ST's fault.

Its funny, alot of people complain about ST not doing anything for the US servers, yet they complain when they actually do mainteneance.

I don't really hate sonic team, i just hate their sloppy work thats all. I know they are under alot of pressure and can't please everybody.
