Ok so again I have a long story,a while back I had a DS,I got bored of it because at the time I didnt know ppl to play wifi with,so I traded it for a PSP,and it was fun for a while, but then,I got bored with it and has been ignored since(not on purpose)so I was thinking of trading it back for a DS(now that I know some people to play wifi with) and if I cant, buy a new game for it. Any suggestions? I have Castlevania SOTN, Disgaia and Guilty Gear and well got bored of them heh....

Tale of the World: Radiant Mythology
Wipeout Pulse

God of War: Chains of Olympus
Valhalla Knights
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Kingdom of Paradise
Puzzle Quest
Lumines 1 and 2
Tekken Dark Ressurection
Brave Story
Every Extend Extra
Tales of Eternia

AND MANY MANY MORE!

Oh yeah, and get the normal (aka Phat) version. The slim has some improvements but the normal one is easier to hack, thus you can pimp out your psp with all sorts of cool shit.

I really like Jeanne D'arc. I wasn't a fan of portable ops. My newest PSP games are crisis core and warriors orochi, and they're REALLY REALLY fun.

That said, I also have a DS, and I play that more frequently than I play the psp. Harvest Moon DS cute FTW!

If ya don't mind horrid voice acting, and a story that's been milked for 10 years, Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core's gameplay is actually quite fun.

Monster Hunter is a PSO-style game. In that its pretty much an instanced dungeon crawl. But the combat in Monster Hunter is COMPLETELY different from PSO in that its a lot more visceral, and Monster Hunter focuses on taking down huge dragons and shit. One of the best games on the PSP.

Wipeout Pure is a futuristic hover craft racer, complete with online racing, custom racer skins, reversible tracks, and a complete single player campaign. Fun as hell.

Tales of the World and Valhalla Knights are both single player dungeon crawls. In both games you create a generic character, name him, pick a class, and get quests from the local towns people to kill X amount of rats in Y cave and so on. Both feature a real time battle system with plenty of customization.

Wild Arms XF is a nice SRPG that sorta differs from the others in that the classes aren't the standard warrior, mage, ranger archetypes and the missions are the standard "kill all enemies" or "escort this person to this location". Its very fun and recommended.

Patapon is a Rhythm based strategy game. Theres no other way to describe it, look up youtube vidyas or something to get a feel of how the game plays.

MGS:Portable Ops, is exactly what it sounds like. A portable version of MGS.

Kingdom of Paradise is like a portable version of Jade Empire, but with customizable combos.

Puzzle Quest is Bejeweled: The RPG. With different character classes, spells, equipment, and a single player campaign with tons of side quests. ADDICTING AS HELL.

Brave Story is your standard turn-based jRPG, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. I think its pretty fun.

I have Castlevania, Tekken DR, Brave Story, Daxter(good platformer), Silent Hill:Origins, and MG:PO.

PSU portable won't be here for awhile, and there hasn't been anything else of interest to me lately. My PSP is hacked, so I play NES games on it too.

Calling Monster Hunter "PSO-like" only serves to make it easier to explain the gist of things. Take PSO, remove the dungeon crawler feel (mainly by removing treasure chests/barrels/etc, focusing on outdoorsey environs, and having a looting system that makes sense), MASSIVELY improve the combat (not only visceral, it's also intelligent!), controls, weaponry, overall quest design, and a shitload of other little things. Presto, you have the gist of Monster Hunter. I could type up a LOOOOOOOONG list of what makes MH such an awesome game. (I stopped playing MH after years of devotion but it's left little more than positive memories, I blame mainly myself for not playing MH anymore (a multitude of factors exist), and I look forward to a Wii installment.)It's one of the games to which I compare nearly every other game that features realtime combat (or maybe just every action RPG. I forget which.).
