what do u do to get a rare monster to appear? Yes i know bout the piping thing but i dont want to mess up my Wii. Please tell me wat u do?

As low as 1 to as high as 10,000 and more if you are absolutely unlucky.

The good one to start with to get a rare monster to appear is Al/Pal Rappy in Fake in Yellow quest.

Rare enemies have been calculated (done over several hundred test runs) to have an an average appearance rate of 1 rare for every 512 enemies of that type you face (so on average, 1 out of every 512 Rag Rappies will be a Pal Rappy). This is not a guarantee, just an average.

on GC offline, no. Your best bet would be fake in yellow for a al/pal and forest of sorrow for hildeblue/torr. For a Nar/Mil lily run addicting foods and for red slimes, no suggestion there other than splitting any you find in runs.

if you are online though (not sure if you are) I think there is a quest that has rare monsters to appear but then again, I play BB which has different quests than GC
