Hioh. So more than a year after I picked the game up, I finally got around to trying this sucker out. Having had some time to sit with it, I have a few [sets of] questions. I didn't see these in other threads, so hopefully they're not too redundant. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

1) Is there a penalty for dying? Lost Meseta? Unequipped weapon? Angry monkey loosed in your room for ten minutes?

2) Next to my name (in the corner, not over my character), there's a little orange symbol that sort of resembles an asterisk. What's that about? For that matter, my name is in yellow. Is that normal...? @_@

3) I sailed through story with little to no issues until I got to mission 10-2, which I fail. Over and over. I've gained three levels since I first got there, but don't seem to be making any headway. The enemies in question are level 20 to my current 19. The problem is not that I'm dying, but that I'm running out of time, largely because I often can't stay standing long enough to attack. Will that happen less frequently as I level? When do you think it would be feasible for me to try again?

4) When does Maximum Attack G end? o_O I'm under the impression it's not for a while yet, but I've not been able to find an actual date. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif When it changes over to G', will the PSO-themed clothing poof from the vendors? If not, why are there little ! symbols next to them?

Thanks for the help! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

1. Depends on the Mission, sometimes no penalty sometimes less exp for your job/ less money.
2. Think yellow name just means Aoti character, blue meant does not have Aoti.
3. Dunno, but if it's a time mission coming back at a higher level will make it easier.
4. May 23rd. And no, the exclamation mark by the clothes just means they are new.

There's no penalty for dying *if* you get revived (with a Scape Doll or if someone else uses a Moon Atomizer or Giresta on you). However, if you have no Scape Dolls and you're forced to return to the lobby you'll lose mission points which means less meseta and MP at the end.

EDIT: That's for normal (free) missions. Special party missions may have different rules where you fail the mission if you die, or something like that.

The little orange symbol means you're the party leader. Your name in yellow means you have the expansion. People without the expansion have white names. GMs have blue names.

Level up a bit, then try again. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

May 22nd is the last day of MAG. No, the PSO clothing will not disappear. It's here to stay!

For 10-2 just remember you don't have to kill the SEED-Magashis, only the Caseals to open the fences.
