What does the offering box do in the area by the photon fortune lady changer?

You stick items in it and there's a small chance you could get a rare item back.

The Miko clothing set (both CAST and otherwise) can appear. I believe the Mirei Photo Stand does, too. I'm not sure, though.

Yeah, Mirei Photo Stand is one of its possible drops. Also PSU Disc 12 and PSU Disc 13.
