IGN had an article about Han Solo vs Indiana Jones.
One user had this comment:
Everyone knows that Indiana Jones is actually Han Solo. When Han was supposed to be frozen in carbonite, he replaced himself with a clone, who would then be taken to Jabba's palace (which is why many argue that Han's character wasn't quite up to snuff in ROTJ in comparison to the previous two films). The real Han Solo froze himself in a separate carbonite chamber and asked Lando Calrissian to fire him into deep space. He eventually landed on Earth, where he remained frozen for millions of years. After he was unfrozen, he renamed himself Indiana Jones, found a new hobby and a teaching job, and was written into history. Again.
