PSOPC works in WINE

I was browsing through winehq the other day and noticed that someone had updated the PSO section. The game was said to run perfectly, just the music wont play for some reason. Though Sound effects do. The other problem I faced, was the same one vista users have, which is I can not type. The only place it lets me type is putting in passwords.

Though it does require using one .dll, which I normally dont like doing, as it defeats the purpose of the wine project a bit. But I just wanted to see PSOPC running.

And if anyone wants to know I am using Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon running WINE 1.0-rc1

Umm, yeah PSU PC servers are still running. PSO PC servers are down, save for the illegit ones.

Too cool! I'm going to have to look into trying this out for myself >_> . Just finished installing Slackware 12.1 on my new system.
