The Walnas

I don't know what I have to do for these things. I find different woods all over the place, like Mot (wood) on neudaiz, thinking it would be a moatoob only drop. I'm not sure where I can find 30 Mot Walna for all of the things I want to synth... This is driving me crazy, and it's not helping to see Mot Walnas going for 100k+ on pc/ps2 =/

I'd do Bruce's Dungeon on S with a good party for mot walna, or I'd go to Desert Goliath or Awoken Serpant S / S2. But I don't think there's much of a strategy to find walna - just stick to the corresponding planet. Wood might be different, but I've never seen mot walna drop on Neudaiz, vice versa.

Stick to outdoor missions. For Mot Walna in particular, try System Defense or Desert Terror.

Mot Walna I hunt on System Defense S2.
Par Walna I hunt on Mad Beasts S2.
Neu Walna I hunt on Sakura Blast S.

Also, make sure to scan the trees you see in the desert since many of them can be destroyed. On higher difficulties, they occasionally will drop Mot Walna.

Valley of carnage didn't give me very good drops, system defense is probably your best bet.
