To those who took part in this initiative, do you feel your efforts have had any success? Have your opinions changed in light of recent events?

As someone on the, uh, "inside" of this, if you will, we're a little confused about where to go from here. We tried to get news out to a few sites, but in retrospect, it was probably for the best that none of them ran any major stories.

But we still have plans, of course. By "we" I mean S-T-H, and by "of course" I mean probably.

I stand by my original comments. Im Hunter on that blog page BTW.

I guesstimate this will bring a grand total of 20 new people to the game.

But that'd raise the current PC/PS2 population by at least 10%!

Success? Some. A few new people were introduced to the game, and the interest of more was at least piqued. In light of the recent fustercluck that's gone on with error 065, the MAG extension to be and SEGA upper management's last-minute "lol no wait, we meant this" with the rest of the staff, as Ffuzzy said, it's likely best that few of the sites we submitted stories to ran them, as it could've been a major blow to the game to bring people in and then have them go through what we all did, likely putting them off completely.

Despite the mess that things have become, I still think that it can all turn around. I know people will call me stupid and naive to believe that, but I refuse to thrive on pessimism like so many others seem to do.

Except that 18 of those will be on 360. :p
