I have a few questions.

if you dont mind me asking where can i find a customisable S-Rank??? i would like one but have no idea where to look

k so im a total noob and heres my noob questions!
where and how exactly do i find customisable s-ranks? can i do this offline or do i need to get the broadband adapter first? do i need to do somthing special to name it? how do i upgrade them with specials afterwards? why am i posting on an old thread that has been abandoned for 2 years?

if someone could answer any of these questions thad be great!

Try not to bump threads older than a couple weeks. Some forums that get less activity (like Episode 3 General) are allowed a couple months, but for PSO General and Mag, Quest, Item, and Section ID, try not to bump threads older than a couple weeks.

In answer to your questions, you get customizable S-Ranks at the end of Challenge Mode. You get different weapons for each episode. When you choose your weapon type, you also choose its name and special attack.

Online Challenge mode only (legitimately). True S-Ranks can not be received offline. Specials can be upgraded in a mission (Episode 2, Gallon's shop?), which requires Photon Drops.

You get S- Rank weapons by completing the Ep.1 and/or Ep.2 Online Challenge mode in less than 7 hours and 5 hours respectively. If you do it successfully you will be awarded S-Rank. Then go to the Hunter's Guild lady and talk to her and she will tell you that you earned a prize. You can name your newly acquired S-Rank with a total of up to 8 characters.

To add specials to it (copied from guide): first play the East Tower quest. At the beginning visit Hopkins (he's at the same place as in Gallons shop). Talk to him and he wil lead you to his father "Paganini". Just press the chat bubbles away and continue with the quest. Once you have defeated Epsilon go to that big Terminal. Press A button next to it and you will recieve the data Paganini wants. Teleport back to P2 as usual and visit Hopkins again. His father will go on about how he will do more research and soon develope new weapons. Once you successfully complete the East Tower (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/../sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=938) Quest and fulfill the requirements, you will then be able to add the following attributes or weapon elements (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/../sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=326) in Gallon's Shop (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/../sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=772) by speaking to Hopkins in the quest and exchanging them for the required amount of photon drops (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/../sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=307)listed below. From now on Pagani will always offer the S Weapon option.
