How to survive FSOD/BSOD

unless ST fixes this problem every one who plays online better check this post out.ok i am not 100% sure about this but it works MOST of the time.After u push the POWER button DO NOT return to online play.instead do offline play and play single mode on any difficulty.you should have all your weapons back.just always remember to return to single mode whenever u get FSOD/BSOD and i think u will be okay.i might be wrong but it works 4 me and plz share this information with everyone else so u won't have to give up your precious rares 2 some whinerz.

There is allready a post about this. It only really applys to the "buzzing FSOD" which doesnt destroy your items. I've had that several times and all I've ever lost was my money and none of my items. Oh and I just went right back online, even though it said "this character omits closing normally all item data has been lost" or what ever it says after an impropper shut down. The new server update FSODs cause character corruption and thats a lot harder to get around...

the buzzing FSOD does destroy your items..at least it did to me...i lost 4 legit god units (2 pow, 1 arm, 1 mind.)...but hey, at least i got to keep my trimates, huh? huh????

Back on topic, thanks for this info, this has worked for me a few times too, probably just a fluke ...all we need is a way to get past char corruption
