When did the fix occur in which you stop dropping your main equipped weapon? Was it in v.2 from way back in dreamcast or is a recent change made in the gamecube version?

as far as i know it is a GC addition, only draw back is you dont drop ur money but if u return to the ship u loose all of the $ u had on you

that was a new addition to gc version i believe

The no weapon drop is so far GC only. It will probably be in the Xbox version as well since the Xbox version will more than likely be a direct port. The losing money permanently update kinda sucked at first but I think of it more like the penalty for dying. Besides, making meseta is PSO is not hard at all especially when you reach hard, vhard, and ult levels.
