I read in the cheating forum that someone couldn't restore a character backup successfully using the USB memory card. Admittedly, this memory card could be used to duplicate items, but, item duplicating will happen even without it. I guess corruption seems more common recently, since the game doesn't pause when you autosave joining a team. That's why this device interests me so much.
A problem with restoring backups is that items and materials and techniques get reset after going online =>_<=; I still think that's better than losing the exp points.
So, has anyone been able to restore a backup of a character file?
