So 20 free DLC songs sounds pretty damn awesome.

But there's also a nice kicker. You can import all of the songs from your Rock Band disc onto your HD to play on Rock Band 2. Course, , there will be a fee for being able to do it, which is slated for being under 5 bucks (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/14/rock-band-disc-content-can-be-ported-to-rb2-for-5/). Better than buying it when you can probably just borrow it from a friend.

It was also stated that if you have any songs from Rock Band that you bought from the DLC, they will be transferable to Rock Band 2.

All in all, the set list looks pretty solid and has a lot of variety. I lol'd at Linkin Park's One Step Closer though.

Painkiller is going to be awesome. I can definitely see that being Final Tier for almost everything (especially drums!)

Very nice setlist though- it's good to see some of the tracks used in previous GH games returning too (Carry On Wayward Son, Round and Round etc).

Apparently there's going to be a 20-song DLC pack when RB2 releases too, containing songs that Harmonix wanted to be in the game but couldn't. (For 360/PS3 only I'd imagine)

Can't wait for Rock Band 2 though, the first game is still awesome.

I just noticed Offspring in there.

NOW they put good music in. Seriously, the first Rock Band was subpar with music, I'd only heard of a few of the bands.

A Disturbed song, oh god, no singing please. >_<

I also lol'd at the Linkin Park.

I thought the same thing actually

The drum intro is going to be nuts along with the fact that the singer is going to have to be able to sing reaaaaally high "PAIN KILLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

But you get to sing OOOOOH-AH-AH-AH-AH! That, and the end part where the singer is ranting with his mother would be hilarious to sing (and butchered from all the swearing cuts, obviously)

Also, I thought the music in RB1 was really decent. Aside from the TERRIBLE cover of Run To The Hills, it was generally quite a solid game. Highway Star still remains my favourite solo in the whole game to play, and even some of the low tier stuff (see: The Hand That Feeds) was great for multiplayer. I will admit though, RB2's setlist looks ten times better- adding RB1's setlist to that is crazy XD

I've already almost lost my voice from singing in RB once (on Boston's More Than A Feeling >_>), and I think Painkiller might do it again. I seriously feel sorry for any drummers though- the intro is insane

Being able to use all of the DLC from Rock Band 1 pretty much makes my decision; I spent too much money on that for it to go to waste.

Guitar Hero World Tour is going to need the best tracklist in video game history, no exaggeration, in order to come out ahead now.
