There was just a debate on this in my White Beast party, and I wanted to see what PSO world thought. I was playing my Beast Wartecher, and someone said that I'd do better as a melee acrotecher. Then the chaos ensued. PSO-WORLD... GUIDE ME!

I would definitely say that WT is better at melee than AT, but AT is more useful as a class.

As a acrotecher would have higher acuracy and higher lv buffs. Pure power wise the wartecher is stronger. It is real close though.

Wartecher, it's made for attacking and teching, acrotecher's made for support. No way AT would hit harder

You could also use the stat calculators to determine this, but I'm not sure how good they are yet, having not used them myself.

And even more...White beast is mostly populated by noobs who joined during MAG and leveled to the cap, and know nothing about this game whatsoever.

Check it in your Status Screen and compare the numbers?

WT for reasons already stated

If an Acrotecher could melee hit harder than a Wartecher there would be no reason to have the Wartecher class.

The thing for me is there is only around a 100 atp diffrence between my wartecher and acrotecher as a human. Aside from the weapons they can use and acrotecher having much better support spells it seems like I'm almost using the same class. It will seem even more so when wartecher get lv 30 buffs.

WT for sure.

Dus Majarra is enough said. Plus lv 30 melee skills vs lv 20.

Having played both, I'd say Wartecher due to higher melee PA cap, higher atp, and better melee selection it my opinion.
