You might have to settle for a King's Arms or King's Partisan. Of course, there's the Final Impact, too.

I dont really like mech guns, but wouldn't a Lord Mechgun steal the full % of the exp steal lvl % per each photon shot? so like 20% x 3 (3 photons shot in one launch) x 3 (for a full combo) = 180% stolen(granted all the shots in the combo hit)?

The problem with that is the fact that you need to use a special shot every time. Special attacks aren't usually going to hit the first or second time. Also, a shot hits five targets at once. You reap more experience with a sweeping weapon than a mechgun.

While you can hit more enemies with a sweeping weapon, mechs hit a single target much faster.

And getting a Kings Vulcan with 45-50% hit isn't that hard. =/

What about a sword or partisan? Those are reasonably fast and sweep plenty of guys.

Swords and partisans are great, but when it's only 1-3 dudes in a mob; mechs would probably be a better choice.

In a full combo of mech attacks, you will almost always hit more than a full combo of a partisan or sword.

All of them are great, but when it comes down to speed mechs win.

using a sword or partisan would be good in the addicting food quest. in caves 1 and 2 you fight 5-8 enemies at a time. the forest section of soul of a blacksmith would also be a good bet. if there is a hit % it would help but if not there are plenty of enemies you're bound to hit some of them.
