Uh..is SE Charm anygood?

I jus made my First Vish Feara(42% =D,11*whip) and it has lvl 4 Charm on it, Anxious to try it out i went to flowery Pursuit. The infliction rate is ridiculously high (takes less than a full combo to inflict all the mobs at once). But im not quite sure what exactly the SE does, where as in other videogames with charm usually keeps enemies from attacking you. In this one I noticed everyone was ruthlessly chasing me..or just a coinkidink...? I dunno, if thats the case it doesn't seem that useful then...unles I'm missing something. Can someone provide a little more insight on Charm?

Charm makes the enemies only attack you and no-one else.
Combine that with an fF on Jabroken, is a lethal combo.
It's a great support weapon for a support class. (aT)
