Command & Conquer generals? do you need a specific card? Or do you need the fx to get its full potential?
fx's coming out late feb.

rts's aren't usually pushing the average graphics card. if I had to just guess, I'd say anything on a G2 level would still get away with it fine. unreal 2 : the awakening, on the other hand, is making G4's cry.. >_<

No, I've seen screenshots. My roommate uses an onboard thing he got with his Dell, and it's been able to handle games I was so sure it wouldn't be able to (UT2003 for instance). Programmers deserve a little more credit for how well they use system resources. G4 is still a card that you never need unless you have an urge to get the best there is. FX I thought was still experimental and not even really out. Get a Radeon 9700!
