Err, how many tags?

I've been under the impression we can only have 5 tags for a thread, however in the PSZ thread Toadthroat started, there's 12. What's the deal? =/

A thread can have up to 25 tags.

I believe the number is limited to 5 tags per user per thread with the current settings.

Anyone can add tags to a thread. Or at least I can...
It shows up on the right side of the page where it lists the tags, as "Edit Tags".

I assume you're trying it in another thread, somewhere in Site Related, OT, or PSU Gen.
I think, though, it's simply because I'm just that awesome.

Under the current settings, normal users can add 5 tags per topic in all forums - besides FKL - if they are the OP.
