....actually...this trailer reminds me a lot of the Mario movie. Taking an overly cartoony concept and trying to make it as bad ass as possible.

But for the sake of conversation, I guess this is following the Dragonball story (loosely) as appose to Dragonball Z, huh? That would make sense...but yeah, where the hell is Krillin?

This adaption is going to be so different that it's going to be difficult to make a fair comparison to the original. I do wonder what Toriyama has to say about it!

However, even on its own merits, the movie doesn't look like it's going to be very good. It reminds me of the cheesy early 90s comedy martial arts films made in Hong Kong. It should at least be somewhat entertaining.

No, you don't understand I work at a more adult theater, for lack of a better term, we serve actual dinner, and alcohol(the hard stuff, not just beer.) So needless to say during the summer I almost pity the servers/ushers who have to clean up the theaters, far worse than your average theater... if not the same.

well it sure is interesting. it has the potential to be the greatest movie ever created.
but that depends on the fight scenes. :p I mean, I can just imagine them moving
3 times slower than they did in the anime. but who knows, maybe there will be some
craters an mountains exploding to give off an effect that they are fighting fast all over the
place. :p
