Something I've always wondered about synthesis.

Does your luck affect the item's outcome only when you begin synthesizing, or only when you take it out? Or is it a bit too difficult to tell?

For example, if I begin with 0 luck, and take the item out with 3 luck, should it still have a better chance of having a good percentage? Thanks.

AFAIK, Holy Luck or whatever its called, only affects regular spawn drops, Grinding, and Offering box.
The only factor I think that affects synthing is the synth % of success, and even then the % of the actual weapon/ armor is still random.

There's been much speculation on this, but I think it's just a rumor. Adriano pretty much hit the nail on the head there.
