Looks nice, but the HUmar in the cutscene makes one wonder if you'll have to play as him in story mode. I don't hope so.

I love the stark contrast of the guy and the one sitting next to him. I would almost guess that this would make a good commercial for the diversity of people enjoying the Nintendo DS system.

Many will say this is just a pic. However, I can see it as an artform.

Still, it kind of makes you wish more guys could get away with wearing what that guy has on the left. Just from a liberating, scratch away the social stereotype, point of view. It would definitely make just going around places a bit more entertaining.

For me. I'm not sure I want to be as awesome as that guy. For too long..... I wanted to be as cool as James. (see.... Typing of the Dead)

I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think the prologue section (http://phantasystar.sega.jp/pszero/#/introduction/prologue) was there either. If I'm right and it wasn't, it's basically a video showing barely nothing image wise except a town and a fleet of ships heading towards it. I didn't get much out of it as it was primarily text (of which I can read none), but I'm sure someone else could.

I'm worried about this as well. Being forced to use Ethan Waber in PSU has left a nasty taste in my mouth ( as if Sega did not realise a large part of PSO's apeal was in making your own character and playing as him/her ) and I would not put it past Sega to make a similar mistake with this game.

It looks more like an in-game cutscene to me. I also couldn't help but notice that the HUmar ( I think his name is Kai ) is in almost all of the in game screen shots. So I'm going to assume the worst case senario for now, we might have to play as him in Storymode, in which case I will be skipping that mode all together and going straight to multiplayer.

Tallgeese FTW. The Tallgesse ( and it subsequent upgrades ) was my favorite mobile suit in the Gundam Wing Universe especially the the Tallgeese 3 from Endless Walse. It looks like RAcasts finally have a decent Head option.

-The character you create is used in all three modes of gameply, Story, Wi-Fi, and Local Multiplayer.

Fun box art.

Like a lot of the DS art though, its usually too busy and completely filled for its own good, since it gets shrunk down in actual packaging limitations in size.

Lets hope it gets a touch up by the time it gets release outside of Japan to let it stand out among the many similar box arts on the DS aisles and shelves.

Potential examples being cut down on the # of characters (to give more room for fuller shots and or their weapons - if not cut out the weapons altogether to clean up the edges and placement), push the Dragon to the cleaner edge of the NE side (don't have to fight with the white wall bulge of Nintendo mandatory Logo) more-so hovering over the rest of it- characters and all, remove the moon maybe, etc.

it has been confirmed that you will use your own character in all three modes (story, wifi, and "single") so do not worry about a ethan waber complex.
