Ruins help. :(

I've beaten the Forest, Caves, and Mines. I touched all the pillars, too.. why can't I go to the Ruins yet??

You have to touch all 3 pillars and defeat Vol Opt in the Mines... no matter what...

Lets say you touched the pillar in the Forest beat the dragon... went through the caves and beat De Rol and didnt touch the pillar, then went through the mines and beat Vol Opt without touching the pillar... then you saved the game. You would have to touch the caves pillar and the Mines pillar AND beat Vol Opt again in order to get to the opening of the Ruins entrance...

On the other hand... lets say you did everything above but you didnt save after you beat Vol Opt and you went back and touched the other pillars.. I think you would still have to goto the Vol Opt boss room in order to warp to the Ruins entrance (I could be wrong about this though... seeing as I have never went in to fight Vol Opt without having all 3 pillars lit already.
