very deep responses! yup yup. but ya, there are many things to be learned! but ya, it really
takes the right stuff. well ya know, it's very interesting how it works cause even with very
experienced devs, games like L4D can still take about 4-5 years to make! But ya, I think it
also dependings on how deep the a.i. structure is and how much is put into it. cause I think
probably one of the hardest aspects in a game is a.i. and especially an a.i. director.

Development teams generally have separate programmers (or even teams) for developing the AI for a game.

While it's pretty simple to write an AI script that's on the level of your general MMORPG's logic (which, hell, I did in class one day), if you decide to make things get complex, you'll find out that you can bog down a system pretty quickly if you don't know what you're doing.

It's still really fun, though.
