Looks normal to me. Are you used to playing bigger character than that force?? The comparison might be throwing you off.

Is it me..or does that screen shot look weird? and hildebears are about the same size, your force max height would be around six and hilde bears look like 15 (or close)

it looks weird because the Level200 has Level1 Equipment

That's normal size O_o why WOULD they make them bigger? lol Also, that's the chat button, it opens up virtual keyboard, word select, and symbol chat. Didn't you play DC PSO? If you did then you'd notice the button positioning is the same as DC ^_^; Not that it's bad but I'm surprised you asked http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Pic looks fuzzy cause the upperleft was edited to display stats of a level 200 on a low level... Easy to tell by the bad editing.

Looks like a bunch of editing. That mag is a baby mag, BTW..

I'd say the Hilde is normal size, but it looks bigger becasue they captured it as it was swinging.

As for the beginner equipment on the level 200 character, I'd say that's becase the magazine staff that is previewing the game has a develpmental XBOX and was able to edit their character stats.

Actually i think thats the soft keyboard key. Theres yet another key under the little Xbox logo that I think is the microphone key.

I dont think thats editing theres a series of pictures of DAPHNE in all the gaming magazines at level 200. Games do that all the time, show the game at the max.

Not true. I took a VRAM dump of the actual game running and it really is distorted like that while in the game. I thought the same thing when I first saw it ^-^

If you have an S-video or component connection, you'll be able to see the distortion on your TV.

That image is possibly the worst attempt at a good photoshop job I've ever seen. ;p

I've seen worse but they were made to be obvious.

i'd just say they messed up the captureing somewhere. why should they fake something that stupid like a mag or the hud?
i never seen the x-box-version of pso in RL (as well a i never had the chance to experiment with the x-box' different video-out-signal-options/connection-solutions etc...) so i cannot say but maybe the little dithering around the letters come from the box' graphic output...

i remember people talking about messed up letters in lots of pc-games as well, who were usually fixed with the first bugfix ^_^;;

So much for game developers setting examples for no cheating.

Game devolpers setting examples for cheating? Hmm, Would'nt it be necessary to test a lvl 200 on every level and every enemy for any bugs for beta testers and such? I mean that is the highest level you can attain, lvl 200. Well would'nt it also be necessary to MAKE a lvl 200 be it cane+1 and a lvl 5 mag on lvl 200? Hmm I believe this last reply can open up a new subject but, as far as the size of the Hildebear, looks fine to me. Hildebears have always looked huge, i play on a 53 inch screen. =)

Sure, that's one way to test the game.

If you go through the archives of IGN, and check out their early videos of GC PSO, you would find one with a HUcaseal running around with a Double Cannon at level 5(or 20, not too sure). I'm sure there are others on PSOW that must remember that. If you want proof, I'll try and find that video.
