Enemy level to character level EXP gain

I'm currently lvl 110 (highest char) and I get more experience from S difficulty than S2..some one told me you would get an exp boost in S2 when you hit 110..but I still get lower xp in S2 than I do in S


so when do you get good xp in S2?

If you're 30 lvls below the enemy you won't get the full exp from them.

You could go to a different run... like Awoken Serpent S2.

You get more exp each level.

You do not get full exp until you are at worst 30 levels below the monsters, but if the monster is Lv160 and you are Lv100, you gain less exp than someone who would be Lv120.

All in all, it's still worth it to play S2 if you can kill them fast.

Funny you should say that since you can kill creature quicker and get more exp in a different mission S2 or on S rank White Beast instead of going to S2 White Beast where you kill creatures slower and get less exp.

I was not talking about a specific mission, either.

If you're soloing, playing lower difficulties is faster experience. If you're in a team of six, the difference in clear time between S and S2 will be very small =/

It's pretty obvious when the OP says "whoa, so inorder for me to benefit from S2 I have to be lvl 130? and from the boss 135?" that he's talking about White Beast. No other missions currently out have level 160 enemies and a level 165 boss.

Flowery pursuit has level 160 enemies, but the Shinowa Hidoki at the end are level 170, not 165.

All of the other S2 neudaiz missions are level 155/165 (Dancing Birds and Sakura Blast), level 150/160 (such as Sacred Stream), or level 150/155 (Hill of Spores)

There's no need to act like you don't know which mission the OP is talking about. Actually, just taking a wild guess at which mission he was talking about given the recent trend of players would have put the odds on White Beast without having to pay any attention at all to what was actually said in the thread.

Does the exp reward function the same if you are >30 levels above the enemies, just as it would decrease from you being >30 levels below?

I don't believe so...
At least, I've never heard of or seen any enemy being 30+ levels BELOW you giving less-then-normal exp. But if the enemies are say; Lv 70 (A rank in most of the commonly played missions) and you're Lv 100 (minimum Lv REQ for almost any S2 rank mission), Why would you be doing such a LOW ranked mission for EXP?

Nerfed? No. But if the mobs in A are 101+, and I believe they're like, 150 or something, then yes, it will be less.
