Bad luck...and some good luck too

It's a miracle! I'm level 100 with over 230 hours of time in PSO, and yesterday I saw my first rare monster! It was a red Pouifully Slime (however the hell it's spelled, heh). So I quickly kill it and guess what I get? NOTHING. Not a Flame Visit, meseta, or even a damn monomate. NOTHING! Man that pissed me off. Maybe in another 230 hours I'll be lucky enough to find one that actually drops something...

I had some good luck today though. I was playing Ruins on Hard (need to catch up on my offline play) and got S-beat's Arms from a Delsaber! Pretty weird... Do Sinow Beat's drop them too?

BTW, I'm Yellowboze.

dude your one luckey YB! Im the same with 160h. And I get junk. No rare monsters with that char yet. And no Sbeats, or Delsaber.

You know what though... Im starting to think that the ultrarares pop out on every difficulty except vhard. Im gonna start playing on normal and hard only now.

That sucks about the Slime too. I killed a blue rappy with another char. and it dropped a freeze barrier! C'mon!

Haha.. I feel good now that I read this.. in my 30 + something hours I saw AI Rappy who dropped a mag cell.

Don't bet on finding everything on Hard. The other day I did The Fake in Yellow SIX times in a row on Hard hoping to just see an Al Rappy, but found nothing. BTW, I saw the red slime on V-Hard...

Also, has the dragon ever dropped a damn Dragon Slayer for you? In all my 230+ hours it's never even dropped ONE for me. 99% of the time it gives me 2000 meseta (oh wow). I had to trade for the one I currently have.

I've found that hard is the best place to find good to ultra rares....for me anyway. I found delsabers buster, surpressed gun, custom ray, sbeats blade, double sabers, durandal, etc. all on normal/hard difficulty. I've yet to find anything better than a DB Saber on v.hard. I've ran into a Al Rappy and Nar Lilly. The Al Rappy dropped me a flowens shield(not bad) and the nar lilly dropped a priest/mind--(sweetness).

Actually Spike, the dragon has dropped 3 Dragon Slayers for me, all on Hard, 1 of which I gave to a friend who could not find one for the life of him. As for Rares, i'm at around 140hrs (I think) and found some rares early (Dbl Sabre, Photon Claw, Dragon Slyr) but not much after that.
