NPC influnece in drops?

i dont konw if this matters or not but dose having an npc in your party effect what drops and if you kill a monster and your npc kills one with the same luck is there a different chance an item will drop or the same

im not 100% but as far as i know the npcs do absolutly nothing to change drops in the game

Nope it doesn't have any effect on your GBR % or box drops.

To my knowledge, only the NPCs from the MAG mission would affect the box drops at the end of the mission, but regular Story Mode NPCs don't affect the drop.
