My friend is trying to play PSU on a Mac.
Has anyone got any tips on how to get AotI running on a Mac with VMware Fusion. I've seen
evidence it can be done. Some screen shots of it running in a window on Mac desktop.
He seems to have it installed okay in a Windows XP VM, with Direct X installed and
3D graphics access enabled etc.
It looks like game guard isn't starting up.

It's an intel iMac with 4GB RAM not sure of the exact model.
He doesn't want to use bootcamp.
Think this is VMware Fusion 2.0

I'm not sure how that program works, but does it allow you to emulate any type of file? If so, I'd say throw all the gameguard files in there.

PSU has a sh*tfit when installed it in a VM, at least on a Windows machine. It seems to "know" when you're trying to sandbox it and won't run. If there is a way to cripple Gameguard (and there almost certainly is, damned if I know how though) that's probably the key to getting it working.

I used VMWare Workstation 6 on Windows 2000 Professional. YMMV.

This guy claims to have it running:

and shows some screen shots. So it must be possible!
