This, IMO, is one of the smartest things Sony could do to make EQQA available to a wider audience. Lets just hope they don't have another network adapter shortage. However, I do not like EQQA, I was a Beta Tester for it, and it was complete crap, but I hope Sony does this for future online games where it charges money.

Actually, I'm surprised Sega didn't adopt this idea. The only downside is you actually pay more for the card, rather than simply entering a credit card [for EQPC atleast]. I currently pay 35.23 [something around there] for my 90 day subscription, but purchasing the EQ gamecards cost 39.99 and tax. I'm not sure about E and O or TSO's gamecards though.

The only possible reason I can see if that Sega doesnt officially accept debit cards [on Ver.2 atleast, not sure about GCN PSO though] and these gamecards are basically special debit cards.

This was very smart of Sony to do. Actually, it was smart of them to do it a long time ago which is what they did. It isn't just because EQOA is coming out.

EQ also has a much greater installed base than PSO, keep in mind.
I DO remember hearing rumors about a PSO card though... I think it's a DAMN good idea, and PSO's userbase is growing all the time. I think it has a good chance of happening eventually.
