Is it possible to use more than an element in a weapon?

Lets say, you have lvl 0 of an element... could u use 5 exp elements for example, and make the weapon lvl 5 element? or you can just change the type or upgrade just 1 lvl of it?

no you can not. if the weapon has no element, you can add a lv1. if it has a element like heat lv3, you can change that to stun lv3 or whatever you want.

if you want a higher lv element, you have to find a weapon with a higher one. ALSO, unique rare weapons with set elements cannot be changed or added.
