Just wondering how when playing as a force, to apply the higher level spells to weapons, and which weapons if any? Also can you find any new "MAGS" (Mark III, for ex) in the demo version?

You can link techniques to any TCSM, Wand, or Rod type weapon.

Force-type characters can find Shag Azza and Shag Omur RCSM's in the Train Rescue boss boxes. They're shotgun-style shooting type mags (RCSM)
I think anybody can find Koltova Madogs in Plains Overlord, though Rangers seem to get them the most. They're casting type mags (TCSM)

I know how you link the barta and foie but higher level techs cant be linked to the same items I was wondering why? Am I missing something?

Did you use the discs once you purchased them to actually learn the techs?
