What does MST affect? Is it attack speed? I have no idea and would appreciate any help to clarify. :D

My newman's Mst is 1059 most tech based attacks dont hunt me?:-? Like a big fire ball from a gazronan. ( spelled wrong )

Every 5 MST reduces TECHNIC damage done to you by 1 point of damage. (Or something around that number)
