Are 360 servers down right now?

I'm trying to log in to do the event real quick before I have to leave to go see Watchmen, but I keep getting error messages that there's no response from server and that the servers may be undergoing maintenance...

I'm connected to XBL just fine, played other games online just before this without any problems...

Are the 360 servers down? What horrible timing if so. If not, then I guess I'm screwed cause I have no idea what's wrong!

Like I said earlier today, I've been having problems connecting as well, and it's only been doing this since this update. For me at least, it's been like trying to connect in the earlier days of PSU, when you don't get on every time, and you have to hit disconnect, and start all over every time because the retry button doesn't work. Anyway there's my long run-on sentence XD

Is your Guardians Lisense expired? My 360 had no issues logging on at about that time.
