You have stuff people dont need/want. You should first focus on lvling. And calm down I, its only your first few days. I felt the same way when I first started. "aww man look at all this cool stuff!" but i haz no money to buy it all" "what should i do now". Just worry about lvling and as you play youll naturaly get money. Then when your high lvled you solo missions with good drops. High percent A-S rank spears sell for alot. So do high % slicers.

I don't belive you did anything wrong.

Few things.

1/ Are you under cutting by 1 Meseta?
2/ Are you saleing item's or Weapon's are in deman?
ie: still sale C Rank.
3/ When you can pick up anything's that are in mission's, so can other's.

With the event still up and running. Money should not be a problem.
Unless you are running with group's that take an hour to run a 'Puzzle C'
Sad to say it. But, If you are. You aren't just lossing money, MP, Exp and time as well.

Last/ check around when you are at lobby's. What other player's have equip on, and there PA's level.
(with low account number 3007 or lower)

100% agree with Majarra.

whats this event mission about? (i cant seem to find it)

Event mission is in Guardians Colony, Floor 3. It was supposed to be removed, so there is a legal glitch to get into it.

(while someone is sitting in doorway)
1) Go into clothing shop opposite of Event Area
2) Leave clothing shop
3) Head to Event Area (keep camera on the event area doorway)
4) Go into Event Area
5) Talk to NPC labeled "Main Mission"
6) Do "Charged Puzzle" mission (maybe with a group)
7) Ask others to explain how mission works :-)

Yes, the increased EXP rate is intentional... though you really shouldn't be there - the powers that be said no rollback, but let's be honest... this is Sega we're talking about.

Anyway, your money problems might be related to your level. What's your highest character level?

The fastest way I have made money is through the player shop.

Tips:
Keep EVERYTHING you find

Use the "Search by condition" then "set item name" option for item specific searches

Look at the items you have. The higher rarity, the harder it is supposed to get.

After you see what people are pricing things at, price your own items in a similar fashion (usually having your price be a couple meseta lower).

Every few days recheck what you have on sale, anything that hasnt moved for awhile recheck price and adjust accordingly.

Be aware - alot of common items people put on sale can be sold to any NPC at a higher price, watch for this.

Any elemental photon (El-, Gra-, Im-, ect) is usually a way for some quick minor cash.

A great item to look for is the "Relic Edge", it sells for 1.5+ million meseta. It can be found at any RELICS site mission (i found it on "Sleeping Warriors" in Parum) and on any rank. The item is rare (11 stars I think), so it will require several runs.

Swiftstrike pretty much said it. If you want, I've recorded the NPC buyback price (that is, how much you can get by selling an item to an NPC) for all materials and the majority of other items. It's an OpenOffice.org Calc file.

Don't bother setting prices below the NPC buyback price. Just sell them to an NPC. DO keep a lookout for other players selling items below the NPC buyback price, though! Happens a lot with room decorations and mid-range boards. You won't get rich but every bit helps, right?

Consider slapping a few grinds onto a weapon you plan to sell. Getting something +2 or +3 without breaking it is very easy to do, and can miraculously add several hundred thousand meseta to the price tag depending on the item... usually a good return on your investment and a use for low-end grinders.

A photon gatcha will essentially cost you 3600 meseta (6 daily trips to the Casino at 600 meseta each to collect the required free coins). It can be a source of income depending on what you put in it and how much you charge per turn.

Lastly: Meseta saved is meseta earned! Spend wisely. If you solo like I do, go AFK while your weapons recharge instead of using photon charges! My rifle is recharging as I type this post! Sometimes items are cheaper to synth than to buy, so compare the price of the finished item to the cost of the board and materials (esp. when some materials are free from missions).

Lol I am doing the same thing, but am converting it into a web-based searchable archive too.

how long is this event going on for?

The event ended two days ago. It ran for like, four weeks. However, all they did to end the event was to lock the door leading to the area, which is why you can glitch your way in.

My advice is at lv 30 - 40 do Sleeping Warriors... whatever rank you can and just level-up... you will come across an item called Relic Edge... it's an area drop for Relic sites, it drops on all Ranks and sells for 1.5 million Meseta. That will help give you a boost to buy some low-end S-Rank weapons... especially if you're a Gunner / Techer
