I still can't understand how to tell Cast parts from Human clothes (and female/male either).

When it's in your inventory, look at the description. If there's 2 boxes filled with colour, it indicates the colour of the garment. This means it's for Humans/Newmans/Beasts. If there's no colour boxes, it means the colour can be changed manually (and is therefore a Cast part). Also, some clothes have hints in the name (CAS-oyal, CAS-miko, CAS-yukata etc).

As for male/female, it's a matter of reading descriptions and finding out. Some names are gender-specific (For example, Formalwear is Male-only, while Formal Dress is obviously female only). For things like bikinis though, which have the same name regardless of gender, you'll need to look at the description.

Basically, if you see an X next to it when you go to pick it up, it's either for the wrong gender, and/or its a cast part (if you're a fleshie) or a clothing item (if you're a cast/caseal).

Edit: Just remembered I found a CAS-yukata doing one of the story missions in Shikon Islands- so I'd hazard a guess and say it drops in Rainbow Beast/The Eastern Peril too.

a few[3] guys on gamefaqs are saying they found it on moatoob...problem is they never specified what mission or atleast rank i think they are mixing it up with mens swimwear(what alot of them are doing) but then again i dont recall ever finding anysort o swim wear on any moatoob mission so there may be a chance, not to mention it is 10 stars so i guess it should be a lil difficult..and i think one of thoes spec ops guys might drop it...but all i ever get from them is a phatom =/

According to my sources, the acquirer said that they were running Dancing Birds S and a Masterforce was the leader and that the blades were in the clear boxes.

I heard that Elec Distortion was found at Cost of Research S with a Fighmaster as the Leader at the Boss box. According to this information, this means that it is likely that it will drop the same pattern but for Moonlight Beast A but I have not heard any confirmations.

And finally, I believe I heard that Twin Distortion was found Lightning Beast S as a Fighmaster. I not entirely sure if I got Twin Distortion or Elec Distortion correct, call for Chuck Norris, he made this claims.

The only thing that I can confirm sadly, is that Magana Revolta drops Stolen Weapon S as a Fighmaster as does Spinteil Diska, and that Caleum Fluge does exists, making the other Fluge series correct.

Also, I just recently heard that Claws and Bullets S, holds Yamata-Misaki in its boss box. I'm not sure for which class.

Finally, Drua Gohra drops Gur Bazga as a AM/PT on Awoken Serpent S.

EDIT: Upon looking at my thread I created, someone apparently acquired a lavis cannon at AMF HQ Recovery S. The class of the acquirer is still not known.


I can confirm that certain NPCs upon receiving a S rank, will occasionally give you a PA.

Maya Shidow is a good one because she can give you both Rentis and Dizas, the two PA that are title PAs for getting Masterforce to 5 and 10. Otherwise you can't get it any other way.

One thing i miss now is the fact that boards in the end were so much easier to gain in psu; aoti also you were assured the systhensis board from certain missions. Items could be accumulated this game is kind of a mess i dont know how long i can put up with segas inability to formulate a solid game. I am not bashing the game because i love phantasy star till death but sega should have polished our dlc , we should have a equal parallel with japan im not saying make the game easer just make it a more polished clean finish.

Even better: we will release the game for the ad-hoc option only, on a statistically underused system in the USA in a game that most USA people don't know about ... but we will include multiplayer exclusive stuff.

I like the idea of multiplayer being exclusive to obtain certain items/titles, but we need infrastructure!!!! And DLC. :)

The whole range of consoles Mark III, Master System, Genesis, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast are fixed drops in the Story Mode Story missions. If you're thorough about opening all of the boxes, you should have the full line of systems by the time you complete Chapter 8. If not then, the rare varients of Svaltus on either Sleeping Warriors or Holy Grounds can drop them, the one you get would depend on the Svaltus' level.

It WOULD have been a nice upgrade from my Maggana guns but nooooooo. It has to be racist towards CASTs. Eff that. You meat bags can have your stupid "Tension Buster". I found a Maiden Outfit but it's not the one I was looking for. The one I search looks like a priestess outfit (for those who play Touhou or know anything about it, it looks like Reimu's outfit). I'd also like to know if anyone has found any Svaltus Swords. I've gotten a ChainSawd easily but I'm running RELICS missions and so far haven't found anything.

I think I got Svaltus Sword from RELICs, but I'm really unsure, because it's been a while. AM/PT though, that's about all I can remember, since those are the only classes I main.

Though is did technically worked, he mentioned that by wearing it, it resets your character to normal size human (or in his words, default). If you remove the clothes, your character returns to the adjusted size it was before.

Well I answered my own question this morning. I ran Train Rescue C on my Beast and a Formalwear and Formal Dress for Cast dropped. I got my son's psp and traded it to one of his characters then to my cast. My male Cast looks sweet in the black formalwear!

Yeah, that works through CWC. But it's not actually a clothing item but changing model/skin to NPCs', which will also force your character to that NPC's default proportion.

I started playing PSP a few weeks ago. Never been online with PSO for gamecube and as PSP has no online capabilities I thought I'd give it a try. Only problem I have with it is that I don't feel like I earned some of the rares as they drop more frequently than PSO. Also being a force ain't as much fun too as I can't spam instant kill megid :( Oh, is grants on PSP. I miss that spell. I loved the sound it made at higher levels. PSP is great though. Never played PSU as I heard there's no decent rares offline.

Hey its allright it tookme a while to start gettin rares in psp and the hardest one im gridin for is the lavis weps. But dont give up and be sure you keep goin if u look through forums you can tell how much frustration it is findin items but then again thats what makes the game so fun.

I found a Chain Sawd in a box on a story mission lol. If that was on PSO on the 'Cube it would take me at least a few days to get 1 or 2 if I'm lucky on a Skyly run. I also found a Dreamcast too. Oh about those floating Dreamcasts and Sega Saturns, I thought you could only get them from the downloads on the Japanese PSP as they're listed as items on that PSU wiki type thingy. Oh, is it possible to get Vivienne back as a partner after clearing the game. Not as hard as I thought it would be.....but I ain't tried all the levels on S rank yet so I may eat my words.

well, from what i see in the Item DB, i have something that isn't in the system.

A SEGA SATURN RANGED-MAG! bwahahaha, its for my PSPo, havn't used it yet, but since my fiance is gonna be running a hunter, i'll just port it over to a new CAST Ranger i'll be making.

Other than that, Prismatic Prism technic, really weak shotgun bullet. and i LOVE my Blue x L red Bikini Swimwear. It goes REALLY well with my Pumpkinhead Rod!
