is there some big secret to it??? because there are a LOT of 8+ grinds in the shop and i cant even get a a rank past 5 even with mega holy... so is there some sort of secret to it or something?

Mega Holy, Grind Boost or not.
It all depends If they like you.

Very high is still 50/50

Read a little of this. Again, 50/50 may help may not help
