Hey Off Topic,
Lately, I've had an interest in recording music. I currently play guitar and have no recording equipment to speak of. The few things I know about recording include computers typically sucking for it (directly) and it costs a metric shit pie to buy modern recording gear. I've noticed some old 4 track cassette recorders in pawn shops and music stores but would something dated like a tape deck suit my needs or would I be better off saving? I'm only in the dabbling stages at the moment so any advice would be helpful.
