Sorry to hear that. Yeah, My DC motor died a few days ago. Need a new GD unit before I can play DC again.

SOme ppl can yes, they use programs to recreate the items and restore your char level, however that's cheating actually, so it can't be discussed here.

Is there any way one can protect themself from such occurances? I seen a whole list of things that can happen on one of... their sites... and I want to know if there's a definate (or at least most effective) way to prevent those things from happening. Thanks to anyone in advance.

For Pso pc, you can back up your own saves. =^.^=

Yes, there are ways to protect yourself, one of them consists of a program to duplicate your save.
Unfortunatly this can be used to dupe, on ver.2 backup saves won't do you any good as you can't use 2 save offline to transfer the duplicated items.

One of the Sites said there was a way to backup game cube saves. And it couldn't be used for duping apparently due to how the memory cards work.

Yes it can. I don't want to post how because it could be considered posting directions on how to cheat, but feel free to ask how it COULD potentially become cheating in the hands of a bad player via pm.

The reason the topic creator is posting here is because he got banned at the other forums.

ppl make they're own luck and unfortunatly his luck has ran out as i doubt someone from the other forums will read this topic.

In anycase i see that the method to duplicate the save cannot be revealed, i could reveal the method to duplicate the ver.2 save file considering you can never play with both at the same time.
