A Few online Questions

I've been thinking about paying to play PSU:AOTI online and I have a few questions to ask:

1. Can people have the same names like they could in PSO?

2. I've been playing PSU:AOTI offline, can I play my offline character online?

3. Is it recommended that when I am able to play online, should I start a new character or can I just use my offline one? (if able) Cause I still don't know much about the game and I don't want to be assumed that I know everything just because I'm a high lvl.

Online, you have your own account ID. So, you can name whatever ya want. Some people name 4 of their chars the same name.

Online & offline are 2 separate games/versions. Online saves are server-side. You have no access to them. This is to prevent cheating offline then brings online like PSO. If you start online, you make a new char & start anew.

ah thanks a lot, clears up a lot of confusion!

oh just thought of something, what do you think is the most under played class? I tend to gravitate towards whatever class has the least amount of people (usually healers in most mmorpgs, but there's no style to healing in this cause just about anyone can cast resta :P)
