G.I. Joe: Resolute [Archive]

Has anyone seen this yet? I found out about it just recently myself from Penny-Arcades news post. I have to say, Warren Ellis really gave G.I. Joe some hair on its chest with this update. This isn't a tie in with the movie to be released this summer, is its own separate deal.

I wasn't a big G.I. Joe fan in my Younger days, so I was iffy a bit when I started watching it... But the whole thing turned out really awesome.

I was gonna say "Seriously?" Then I read the part where it wasn't the movie.

Holy shit. I just watched the trailer. Cobra isn't dicking around.

This looks really intense. Are they gonna show this on the website or no?

The link should show you the first 10 episodes, each episode is 5 minutes long, the final episode will be 10 minutes long.

Sadly its a "Micro-Series," I will totally buy the DVD for this.

Ditto to that. Hopefully it might succeed well enough that the same production team might do some other story. Though it looks like this might be the G.I. Joe story that ends Cobra's rule considering how many enemies have been presumably killed off. So it would probably have to be a prequel or introduce someone else unless Cobra doesn't get killed.
