Finally, some of these games I've been meaning to buy are available at a price worth paying!

I think I'll get Guitar Hero 3 (360), Soul Calibur 4 (not sure if I want to get PS3 or 360...), Overlord (PS3), and Infinity Undiscovery (360).


Oh, and The Cheetah Girls for DS, can't miss that one.

I snagged up GH3 a few weeks back for $50 at bestbuy. It was a bundle with 2x les paul guitars (so me and the wife could play) and the game. I considered that a pretty good steal considering those guitars are usually $40 a pop.

But yeah, I'll definitely be picking up quite a few titles on that list. Scheduled to start on sunday, but if my bestbuy's are already stickering them, I'ma snag them up :D

By the way, if you have both systems, get the PS3 version of SCIV. Just because Darth Vader is actually legitimately fun to play, as opposed to the silliness of Yoda. Seriously. Yoda sucks. Be glad PS3 users have to pay $5 to play as him.

So I stopped by BB today, shit is stickered (yellow circle best buy stickers on top of game case) for the 9.99 stuff, but the sale prices aren't listed yet. They were out of Infinite Undiscovery, SC4 (360), Ninja Gaiden DS, and Overlord.

All I ended up getting was SC4 for PS3, and Red Alert for 360.

yes, it runs through next saturday (the 2nd).
though you've likely missed out on the good stuff already, I found most of it to be gone by 10:30 am sunday.

couldn't hurt to look around though, you may still be able to scavenge something out. if you can, try hitting up a store in a smaller town. that's what I did on my 2nd try and I found what I was looking for.

Well, they didn't have Soul Calibur 4 (not that I'm really hankering for it anyway).

They did have Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (It's actually pretty good! A+++ would buy again!)


Part of me keeps thinking that Too Human would be worth the $10, but I've got so many RPGs to play anyway, and I could never get myself to enjoy the demo.

My local BestBuy was wiped clean a mere 3 hours after it opened. I mean the shelves were literally wiped.

All the good games at mine were bought an our of the store opening. Some employee mentioned the sale as a clearance sale. So they might be permanent prices, as they won't carry those titles anymore. But, managed to grab SCIV for PS3, Condemned 2, and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Now most of the titles advertised were never stocked there to begin with, such as DMC4 (as I already bought that at release). There was an abundance of NG: DS, but not a single copy of Too Human, which wold have been worth $10 to me. Mostly a few people, maybe 12 or so, grabbing titles they want, or settled on. I heard horror stories from other locations though....
