View Full Version : Combination of MapleStory and Perfect World

Recently i play a new game called Ether Saga Online. It is a newest free mmorpg from perfect world Entertainment and has about 12000 quests in the game.

The story is based on the Chinese literary classic called "journey to the west". Ether Saga Online has fully customizable characters and funny pet.

Young anime/cartoon made whole game is like the combination of Maplestory and perfect World where gameplay is similar to perfect world,

and the monsters and scenery look more like Maplestory, that probably is what made the game so special:)

Indeed.


I was really hoping that it'd be swapped so perhaps the GAMEPLAY would be more like MapleStory while the graphics would be more like Perfect World.

How come all these types of games are called "(vaguely fantastic/scientific/french word) story/saga"? That format isn't creative anymore... could it be that they're...*gasp*...copying each other?

nope. alot of anime (especially the cutsy type) just lost its appeal to me, that and AO is still a great game. all though the graphics are VERY dated.

I was hoping, since given the title, I would be looking at "Perfect Story", or even better, "Maple World." Shame.
