Two brand new Sonic games have been announced by Sonic Team.

First theres Sonic Adventure DX on the Gamecube. It will be an update of the original Sonic Adventure, including better graphics, sound and some new sections. Theres no screenshots of it yet.

The second game is Sonic Pinball Party on the GBA. Its a pinball game featuring some of Sonic Teams most populer characters, including Sonic (bit obvious that one), NiGHTS and Samba De Amigo. It has link up features with Sonic dventure DX, but they havent been announced yet.

Now for my thoughts. If everyone remembers Sonic Adventures Casino stage, youll remember that it featured a Sonic pinball table and a Nights pinball table. two of the tables that will feature in Pinball Party. Does this mean that SA DX will now feature a third pinball table in the casino, a Samba De Amigo one? I hope so, that would kick ass. But thats just me thinking.

Got all the info from the new Official Nintendo magazine, except for my thoughts, thats from my head.

IGN has shots for both games up.

The Pinball looks like the house of the dead pinball game, just sonic themed.

As for SA DX, I really wish ST would just make a new Sonic Adventure rather than just release an enchanced game thats less than 5 years old.

If I wanted to play old-school Sonic games I'd boot up my Genesis...

I finished Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast. And Gamecube is getting better graphics and sound. But does anyone know if DX will have any thing new added to it?

I wish Sega/Sonic Team would do something besides use the GCN as the port-all machine. It seems like all the developers want is a shot at the GBA, and make some ports for GCN to get at it.

At least Capcom is taking a chance with Gamcube. 5 new games will be coming too it!

But not before releasing 3 2+ year ports (2 of those 3 were violently overpriced. I mean christ..ports of the DC versions and double its cost?! Capcom is crazy).

I cant wait for Sonic DX even if it is a remake. Sonic Adventure has to be my favourite Sonic game. Sonic Adventure 2 was ok, but it just didnt have the same feeling as SA 1. The fact that there was no adventuring in it may account for that...

I would also be interested to see if they put the original crashed egg carrier theme back in the game. You can find the track in the sound select and it plays for about 5 second of E102 visiting the crash site, but then it changes back to the air theme, which was strange.

Well the only other thing we can hope for is that DX sells well and encourages ST to finally make SA 3.

(Oh, for whoever said that IGN has SA DX screenshots, can you post a link please. The Official Nintendo Mag claimed ST hadnt released screenshots of it yet, i just want to see if IGn are reusing old SA screenshots or actually have some kick ass in game shots.)
