Is it just me, or......

Is it just me, or does anyone find it way easier in ep 1&2 to level up. Or just easier in general? I remember the dc. version, it used to talk me a couple times through each stage, AND runing all the side quest for the same stage to be strong enough to progress. Now it seems only to take maybe once or twice through, and I can beat it easily.( exception to the ruins and Falz)

It might just seem easier to me, because I already knew what I was doing this time from learning in the dc. days

I'm pretty sure Sonic Team changed the experience needed to gain a level at higher levels(100+). I remember in Ver.2 it took me about 240,000 to the next level when I was level 117.

Then in PSO ep.1&2 when I reached level 117, it didn't take me nearly as much experience to gain a level.

It seemed like no one else had noticed this, but I guess not...

Both the experience required and the enemy stats have been lowered.
