DC: Anyone remeber "JOINT PARTS" from V.2?

I have JOINT PARTS on my DC v2 save and was wondering what they were used for. I had heard they are for making the double cannon, use them with the lavis blades and it turns into the cannon. I have like 3 or 4 pairs of lavis blades and it doesnt work with any of them. I used to get lavis blades all the time in DC, wish I could in GC too but oh well. Anyone remebr what they are for?

Never had one myself to try out, but it was said that you could make either the Double Cannon out of the Lavis Blade or a Guld Milla by combining the two handguns. Whether that was accurate or not is anyone's guess.

Actually the joint parts was supposed to be used in a quest.
Kind of like a Doc Montague thing.
er.. that's what I heard a long time ago anyway.
